Discovery Center of Idaho
The Discovery Center of Idaho is a hands-on science center in Boise that sparks curiosity through interactive STEM and art exhibits. Its mission is to inspire lifelong interest and learning in science, technology, engineering, math, and the arts. As the state’s only science museum, it features both world-class traveling exhibitions and original displays built in-house. The center also offers educational programs like camps, field trips, and virtual learning for visitors of all ages.


Mission
Create a promotional campaign focused on Summer Camps, marketed through digital and print materials. Including email marketing, social media, and on-site promotion. The design needs to be consistent with DCI’s brand while incorporating a bold, playful twist.
Solution
I designed a bright, engaging set of visuals using vibrant colors, custom icons, and bold typography to reflect the energy and curiosity of summer camp. I made sure to stay true to the Discovery Center’s brand by keeping their core color palette & typography while adding bubbly, playful illustrations to engage kids & their parents directly. I wanted it to feel like an invitation to explore and have fun. Each element was made to be eye catching, energetic, and consistent across all platforms, helping boost visibility and interest in DCI’s summer camp offerings.
